Disney World 2014

We had the trip of a lifetime back in November.... SuSu and Bo took the whole gang to DISNEY WORLD!!! It was so much fun going as a parent and watching everything through Lydia's little eyes!

She did great on the plane and loved flying... we didn't even have to pull out all the tricks we packed in BOTH of our backpacks :)

We got in late on a Thursday night, SuSu and Bo picked us up from the airport, and we went home and headed to bed. She was actually tired, so she didn't fight us on this. Uncle Robbie and Aunt Shaunna drove in even later, but we all made it up early the next morning to hit the ground running!

Day One: Magic Kingdom!

We wouldn't dream of going anywhere without Baby Patty! And thank you to our friend, Madeleine, who let us borrow this adorable Minnie outfit!
She enjoyed looking at the "maps" in the seat pockets, she was pretty entertained the whole time!

Mr. Clint was on our flight to ATL, so he snapped a quick picture before we headed on to Orlando.

Riding in style in the Atlanta airport.

Twinsies..... look alike, act alike.....

Uncle Robert made it in just in time for night night books.
Princesses came to visit us in the condo every night..... She was so excited Ariel came the first night. Mostly with practical gifts and things we could use throughout the day, so she didn't ask for every souvenir there. But I should have known, my child who never asks for anything, did want much at the parks. The only things she asked for the whole time were cotton candy, a balloon, and the portrait drawing. Of course, she got it all :)

We made it to the parking spots!

She thought the shuttles were so much fun and considered them a ride.

Everything was decorated for Christmas and so very pretty!

Aurora was the first princess we spotted right beside the courthouse, just inside Magic Kingdom. She was star struck for sure! Aurora is still her favorite today!

A little castle and Mr. Walt statute

Thank you to our friend, Morgan, for letting us borrow this precious polkadot dress! It was so cute!

It's a small world.

Shaunna sandwich

She was obsessed with Aunt Shaunna the whole time. If asked who she wanted to be with or go with, she chose Shaunna every time. (We had *just* found out that Aunt Shaunna was pregnant with TWINS!! We were so excited, but hesitant to tell Lyds yet.... so the jumping on her and being held by her was a tricky battle for us to explain!)

She was in love!

Poor Daddy all alone with Dumbo

Ariel ride

This was her excited face the whole time..... I think she was just taking it all in and maybe a little overwhelmed too.

Lunch at The Crystal Palace! The food was yummy, buffet style. Lydia had a blast, until she saw Tigger and Eeyore, she started crying immediately and Alan took her out.)

Little Piglet was so sweet though, she came up gently to Lydia and bent down to her level. Lydia ended up loving Pig, but she claims it's only because she was pink!

We went about a month early, but we were celebrating her birthday! And celebrate we did.... everywhere!!

You've got to have the Mickey ears, right?

Ever since her fiasco at the Crystal Palace, she was terrified of ANY characters.... we had front row seats at the parade and she wouldn't even sit there and look at them from a distance. Poor kid, I felt sorry for her and didn't want her to miss out!

So back we moved, and she was good again.

Sweet Bo was in charge of the stroller the whole time! She loved it!
We just *KNEW* she'd love the toy story ride, I mean, it's a game too! She had made up her mind before we got in line that she did NOT want to ride it, but we pushed the issue because we thought, who doesn't like Toy Story?! Well, it didn't end well..... She was in the buggy with AP and Robbie, she cried/screamed/pitched a fit the whole time and when it got dark, she threw up all over Alan. She's always worked herself up so much so that she can vomit at the drop of a hat. Of course I had a change of clothes for her, just not poor daddy. I felt terrible and she wouldn't get on another inside ride the whole time we were there. She claimed she was afraid of the dark, but I don't know what happened :(

Poor baby, post outfit change.

Oh, we had lots of goodies in our book bags everyday!

It was a long 11 or 12 hour day at the park, but we survived! It was a fun start to a great trip!!
