What we've been up to + double ear infection

I've neglected my big camera, and my blog lately, so basically this is an iPhone picture dump to remember what we have been up to! Please excuse the quality of pictures, but I usually have my phone close by, so I'm able to capture all those precious moments in just a quick click of a button. However, when Lydia sees me holding up my phone, she instantly quits what she is doing to see what I'm doing, so it takes a few tries to even get these!

Last week at home with sweet Lydia was rough for us! NOTHING made her happy, not the usual tv shows, coloring, or even outside. She just screamed/cried the whole week. She pitched a fit when I left her at school and she would not ever let me put her down at home...... I was starting to think I couldn't handle it anymore, so we played outside for a second Friday morning and I finally noticed something in her ears and after talking to a friend, I finally just called the Dr. (I didn't want to call and just say I had a fussy toddler, I thought this was the beginning of the "terrific twos.") So we went to the Dr. last Friday and she had a DOUBLE ear infection.... NO fun! She got a shot with antibiotic and started Augmentin that night.... She was much better Saturday and almost completely normal by Sunday! I'm sad she was hurting for a while, but she had NO symptoms, but extra fussiness. I'm glad I went when I did! Next time I will call when she starts fussing and just lie to them about symptoms!

On the way to Liddy's school one morning, I love their reminders on the sign.

I get a kick out of how long her hair is when it's wet in the tub.

One weekend in Ox, she wasn't too fond of William Faulkner.... or any larger than life thing, such as Rebel or the Bear.

On one away game weekend, we celebrated our anniversary a little late. We went to go see CCR at the Beau! Thanks to Robert, SuSu and Bo for babysitting so we could have a night out all to ourselves! We ate at the yummy Mary Mahoney's before the concert.... it was a great weekend!

Even though we had no baby in the room, I still woke up at 6:30 am and after about an hour of being quiet, I snuck out so Alan could sleep. A quick walk over to the beach. It was so peaceful and beautiful! I love the Coast!

On the way home from the Coast that weekend, SuSu and Bo wore me out!

Visiting Rachel at her mom's house.... She actually smiled!

Getting ready for Rebel football at home. I think was before Arkansas.

The first time in a while that she has fallen asleep in his lap.... so sweet.

Tomato soup and grilled cheese.... even better out of the McCarty!

Lila's first birthday party at Stella and Lila's house across the street.

Pony tail

She looks too old like this, so I don't do it much!

Ready for the GA game, but getting all my energy out at the park before hand.

She loves the little statues around the park, maybe she will be a sculptor one day!

Just hanging out with Grady watching the rebels play.

Baby sitting Audrey, Ella, and big brother Holden, she had fun, she just wouldn't smile for the camera!

When she figured out that my coffee mug in the mornings is warm and not too hot, she likes to warm up her feet on it.

Couldn't wait for Halloween to be over so she could sport her turkey outfit!

What?! There's a turkey on me... gobble, gobble.

Sleeping beauty.

She thought the crayon was lipstick.

She was "helping" me change the sheet on the bed and she crawled up there and said, "Pillow, blanket, lay down!" I didn't even know she knew to do that in a big bed, she doesn't usually even go in our room.

Baylor came to visit one afternoon! She was telling him bye bye, but insisted on buckling him up and trying to carry him out. She kept saying, "Heavy!"

Found these awesome slippers at Wally World.

At the Vandy game. She had on her cheer outfit, but it got too cold for her so we had to change.
PS: The game went down hill after she left, my little good luck charm.

Found grandmaw Lila's tent with the Rebel pumpkins!

It wasn't even cold in our seats, but the wind was strong in Troxy's seats, so we all left after about 30 minutes.

Troxy, KK, and Bubby were off for Veteran's Day, so I decided I should be too! We went to B-town and stayed the day with Baylor.

We took Aunt Abby lunch at school and got to play with the big kids!

Baylor and Lyds at Stonebridge.

She loved the board.

She, of course, wanted to carry Baylor.

This is what I've been looking at for a week when she had the ear infection and I didn't know what was wrong.

I might have a little OCD baby on my hands. I usually just throw her shoes in there and her closet is NEVER organized. She was in there playing and then this is what I found..... If only she'd do the rest of the house!
I found some kissy kissy (my favorite baby brand!) pj's in her drawer that still fit (18-24 mo size)... doesn't she look little again?!

Eating her corn dogs in preparation for the LSU game this weekend.

Mrs. Krista's Thanksgiving happy..... with a note that says, it's more fun to cook in the kitchen all week with new tools! Happy Thanksgiving, I'm thankful you're my teacher! Lydia really does love her!

Trick or treat!

Whew, lessoned learned......... 4 almost two year olds = worn out moms and dads after attempting trick-or-treating! But all the kids had a great time, and that's what matters!! Lydia was not shy at all, shocker, her favorite part was running up to the doors and knocking! I'm afraid every time we go outside now, she's going to just start running and knocking on doors!
Also, I wasn't able to get a picture, but while riding in the wagon, approaching a house, out comes a little boy with a white mask on and Lydia gets so frightened! She starts screaming/crying, trying to jump out of the wagon to run away and falls out, bumps her head on the concrete. Poor baby, she comes by it naturally. That's precisely why I dislike Halloween. Being scared for no reason is silly and I really dislike all the fake spiders..... Can't we all just dress up cute/pretty and have fun?!
I'll let the pictures/captions speak for themselves now!

My little bunny, she just didn't like the ears, but I counted the face painting as a plus and didn't worry about the ears!
Braxton, McKenzie, and Cooper came to walk around the neighborhood.

Brax, the fisherman (with a boot!)
Kenz, the bumble bee.
Cooper, the golfer.

The babies loaded up! (I wonder if we will always call them "babies.")

Our first house, Mrs. Linda next door. She was so sweet and had an extra big goody bag waiting for Lydia!

Second house, no one home...... But Lydia didn't care, she just loved running up to the doors and knocking!

Kenz ran to catch up with Lyds.....

The disappointed faces when they realized nobody was there :(

The next house, a big dog came running out, and this was poor Liddy backed into the corner.

But they had candy, so all was well.

Candy!

Haha, little Ben came to the door but just stood there smiling until his Mom and Dad came! So cute!

Pretty much the leaders of the pack.

She wanted a sucker so bad, we figured it was tempting enough to carry around a bucket full of candy, so we let her have one!

And finally, chicken nuggets and grapes for everyone!

Tired and hungry bunny!
