We have been having too much fun to stop and write it down. I know I'll be sorry one day. But these long days full of sunshine and daddy studying, have us playing more than usual and mama and Lyds are both pooped when we come in!
I'm uploading my iphone pics in hopes of remembering our events. And one day, I'll pick up the real camera again.

| She loves her Noah's Ark animals and frequently lines them up and plays with them. |

| After library time on Monday's, sometimes we pack a lunch and go picnic at the park. Today a little 7 year old boy with special needs came up and sat down right beside her. She loved him and they just played and talked. She didn't seem to notice he was different at all and it melted my heart to listen to their conversations. This is how she looked at him the whole time, she was so excited. |

| I got a really sweet letter in the mail!! Of course I kept it, but I took a picture to always remember ! It was handwritten and had "extras" too! It was very special and heartfelt, I love getting mail! |

| Bailey and John were in town to baptize baby Jackson at FUMC, Brandon. So we had a double date night! Thanks to us not being the loop, the first two restaurants we went to were closed. But we had a fun night at Que Sera and Babalu with wonderful friends! We love and miss them! |

| I picked out my blue dress because I have been dying to wear these shoes that GiMaw had. Aren't they the cutest?! I love them! |

| I realized that night that I had on these awesome shoes of GiMaw's and this pretty necklace with my grandmother's initials on it from her jewelry pile, and of course my rings that I wear daily from my Nee Naw and Alan's NaNa. So I was representing all 4 grandmothers that night. It felt really special and sentimental, it's such an honor to remember them and teach Lydia about them. Our families are so special to us! |

| We met Ivy at the park on day too! She misses her school friends to much! She jumped out of the car, running and yelling, "I'm coming Ivy Grace, I'm coming!" and then she froze when she finally saw her! It's been 2 months. |

| Baby Levi and Michelle came into town and we went over to Whitney's to visit with everyone and see the babies! Sweet Ellie slept the whole time and Lydia enjoyed being the big kid with baby Levi! |

| This house was "straight" 2 second before..... she lined up all these toys, blankets, pillows, chairs, friends, etc and told me they were having a music show. I have NO idea where this came from, what music they were watching or trying to perform. Silly girl can make a mess! |

| When the cat's away (AP), we have daddy, daughter date night!! My Troxy is the BEST!!! We started out at Nick's for appetizers and drinks, ate at Shapley's, and he wanted to round it off with Amerigo's for desert, but I couldn't handle any more food! He also spoiled me with pearls from Lee Michael's. He's so thoughtful and had it all planned out! I am blessed to have him! |

| We ran into one of my old principal's at Wal Mart and he was letting his little girl ride the carrousel...... Lyds loved it, I'm sure we will never be able to go to the store without stopping now. |

| My gourmet dinner for AP (per his request). He's a sucker for a party pizza. But it turns out, we may not be able to digest Party Pizzas and Rotel so well anymore, we were both up with a tummy ache! |

I finished Cold Tangerines by Shauna Niequist in record time (for me.) Megan adores this author and gave me some of her books for my birthday. I liked this about multitasking, and what's valuable to children. Simply being with them, only them, and doing nothing else.... the single task.
It reminded me of part of the sermon that morning, Joey quoted Ann Voskamp about being a super mom.
"Your children don't need to see a super-mom, they need to see a SUPER-GOD."
I love this, because no matter how hard I try, I will never be a perfect super-mom, or get it all right. So take the pressure off of myself and when something great does happen, remember to give Him all the glory! |

| Lydia asked to wear these polka dots today to be like KK, so I put them on her. When we got the park for our picnic, KK was dressed in some of her polka dots.... again. Apparently she wears a lot of polka dotted outfits and Lydia is the only one that notices! Kids remember the funniest things! |
