Shower/Flowers/Levi

Quick post, because I was way to busy to remember to take pics!

Here's a "coat hanger rack" that I made for Levi and pictures of the flowers I did for Levi's showers! Michelle and Buster got a lot of good things, I know baby Levi will be very well taken care of! We love you!!!

Lyds testing out Levi's gift!

I made a "hanger" similar for Liddy's room and I use it often, I think these colors will match Levi's room!

Diaper Stroller from Abby and the ABC box from Mrs. Cindy.

Beautiful mom and my best friend! Sadly, the only picture I got during the shower!

18 mo check up/father's day

Lyds acts like a big girl, but she's so small! Her check up was great! But she weighed in at a whopping 19.5 pounds. The doctor's not concerned about her being small, so I guess I'm not.
Here she is at her check up... she had to get a finer prick after her weigh in to check her levels since she's so small, but everything turned out ok!

Weight: 19.5 pounds and in the 1.4%
Length: 31.5 and in the 42%

Head circumference: 18.7 inches and in the 75%

It's kind of blurry, but she wouldn't sit still has we waited and waited and waited......

The bandaid from the finger prick, she didn't cry until it was all over!
Sunday morning in Nashville was Father's day. I guess if I had realized that, I would have gotten up when she started crying at 6 am, but sweet Alan did and this is what I woke up to! The loves of my life!! Look at them... they are clones anyway, so why wouldn't they sleep in the same position?!
Father and daughter watching TV, her favorite show is Bubble Guppies, and she can quickly find any remote to hand to us and say. "Bubbles?"

The Coast!

So I must be crazy.... We had been home for one full day and Troxy said he was leaving for a conference on the coast. And we jumped aboard to tag along! I figured, sit here all week, or go have fun and have 4 babysitters on the coast to help with Lyds.... so we packed up, again...... and headed south this time! It was a nice relaxing trip. We had no agenda and just got to rest. Liddy was excited to go see SuSu and Bo at work! And she was super excited to play in the sand and water. We were not expecting her to go charging towards the water when we to the beach for a walk... but she loved it!!

Lyds got to play with Roxy at Martin Miazza again! They weren't too sure about each other!
She LOVED the beach!

Precious baby!

In Ocean Springs

We wrote Troxy's name in the sand so he could see it from the balcony because he wouldn't come down to the beach with us.

We came straight home to host a baby shower for baby Levi and his mama, Michelle. It was a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone! I only wish I had taken more pictures, we were busy beavers!

Now... we are washing and packing again for the real beach!

Lydia's first wedding

Whew.... we have been super busy since the last post and we are leaving for Destin soon, so I feel pressured to get this all written down before I forget it!

My cousin got married Saturday, June 16 in Nashville. We were excited to take Lydia to see the family again! She did great in the car, of course Troxy and KK were there to help! She slept half the way there and played calmly in her carseat the rest of the way. We got there in enough time Friday to take a swim in the pool before the rehearsal dinner. Alan and I were not planning on going, but last minute, we decided that we drove all this way, we should at least go say hi to everyone. So we all got cleaned up and headed to the fancy restaurant. Alan, Lydia and I only stayed for the meet and greet, and of course Lyds had to say hello to everyone! We left right before dinner started and we headed back to put Lyds down.
Kind of blurry from the phone, but we finally made it to the pool. And pool has become one of her favorite words.
Ready for the rehearsal dinner, I promise she really is a happy baby, she's just not into smiling for the camera.
Beautiful Margie! (Also the only picture that turned out ok from the dinner because KK was in charge of the camera that night!)

Saturday was spent most of the day at the pool with Uncle Rob and Margie. Margie was excellent with her and I loved watching them play together! After pool and nap time, we got ready for the wedding.

Lyds loves ducks (or the cute little yellow ones in the bathtub) She says "duck, quack!" all the time. We were politely feeding the ducks and these killer geese were about to get us! See that one on the far right? He has the whole piece of bread because I got scared and threw it at him! I ran while KK and Liddy were still standing there and I yelled to mom to bring my baby here!

Pool time!

Nap time.... I think this is first time she's slept in a big bed. Don't worry, she was in the pack-n-paly at night, this was just for nap time.

We all went to the church but Alan and Lydia stayed out during the ceremony so that we didn't distract from the actually ceremony taking place. It was beautiful! And we all enjoyed the dinner and dancing afterwards!

At the reception.

Saying a prayer for dinner.
Uncle Rob and Margie are so sweet! This is what I think a picture of my daddy and me would like 20 years ago!

Lyds loved the lights, it's also a new word.  However, she learned the meaning of HOT that night too because she touched them after they'd been on for while... poor baby had blisters on her fingers :(

I think the photographer got lots of good pics of her!

She thinks she needs ice every time she sees a glass.... and if you're KK, you let her stick her hand in your drink, gross.

Checking out the dance floor!

Ready to dance!

Margie and Sam dancing.

All the kids love Troxy!

Not a very pic of Lyds, but this was the only pic of us the whole weekend!

Sweet siblings, that Troxy never gets to see.
Uncle Rob, and Aunt Suzanne.

Sunday, we were all pooped! Liddy slept half home again and was great in the car! (She slept in the pack-n-play in our room both nights, and she only woke up once each night, but she did stay up late both nights. Her usual nosey self, didn't want to miss out on anything.

She slept like a log Sunday night and Monday we went to the gym, park, and then the library with Boston and Carter, and then she took a 4 -FOUR- hour nap! I guess she was pooped!
