Playing catch up

WOW! It's been a month since the last blog.... and as usual, when the blog gets neglected, that means live was busy, so there is a lot to catch up on! I'm going to try to recap, but it's going to call for multiple posts!
This one is titled "P-U-LSU, Send those tigers back to the zoo!"
(This is possibly the first cheer I remember learning as a little girl) Growing up in McComb, just a hop, skip from Louisiana, there are a lot of LSU tigers running around and with the public school's mascot being the tiger...... yep we had the "Can't hold those tigahs, and the  Bum-bum-bum-bum, from the band. MHS is far from Tiger Stadium, but they tried. Also, if you've never been to Tiger Stadium/Death Valley, pick a home SEC game and GO! It is my favorite road trip of the football season! We haven't missed an Ole Miss/LSPOO game since 2004.  They are not as mean as everyone says, I've found the cajuns to be quite hospitable and kind.... they hate us and we hate them, but there is a mutual respect for our school and our long standing rivalry. Thanks to our Tigah friends for always making the trip worth while. *Disclaimer, we NEVER stay in BR, always stay in NOLA to make the trip more memorable. I'm sure staying in BR, you might get heckled a little more.
Also, A BIG shout out to SuSu and Bo for keeping our Lydia that weekend... we dropped her off on the coast on the way down. We missed her so much, but it's nice to get away sometimes! Thank you!

Since we've been in school, the Ole Miss/LSU game as fallen around my dad's birthday! So this year we had the pleasure of celebrating in NOLA with friends and family! We reserved the back room at Mannings Friday night to celebrate and our very own ARCHIE came to join us!!! It was a very memorable night thanks to good company, friends, and ARCHIE!

I was just a little excited...

We had to take a girls pic.

Before the game!

I love their band.... can't beat it!

Sad outcome for the Rebs, but always a great game down there. We held on until the end and tried our hardest!

We finally got our baby back on Sunday!!!

my happy girl!

At the park on Monday

Library time with Mrs. June, Lydia always wants to sit in her lap!

I'm sure the other kids are jealous, but she runs up there first. (And it's the only way she sits down and listens to the actual story)

Still loving her block!

We went to have a picnic with daddy at his office one day.
