a little bit of this and that

Just a little Liddy update! We stay so busy, it's hard to find time to blog these days! I have tons of projects going on right now and between working on those and taking care of her, we don't stop much!

Lately she has been:
  • Learning to take things to the garbage for me.... everything! Sometimes I find things in there that do not need to be thrown away (books, remotes, etc!)
  • Attempting to pull her pants down and diaper off and walking to the "potty" yet when I walk in to help her, she runs off.
  • She has finally learned to say, "Yes" Although I do not hear NO all day long, now she just says yes to everything.
  • She loves school and her friends and teachers. I hear their names all day long!
  • Last night, she got a little spanking AND a time out! She started hitting me (kind of hard and once with the iphone and that one hurt!) I don't know where she learned this, but she thinks it's hilarious and laughs every time...... Working on this one!
  • She loves to sing! She has a wide range of vocabulary, but when she's singing, it's more of just a mumble. Tonight I noticed her "singing" in the bath tub as we were getting out. When I finally could hear good, it was Happy Birthday! The whole song! They had two birthday parties at school this week and one last week, so I guess it stuck with her! It was precious!

Here are few pics, some are not the best quality from the phone, but they are still cute!

Right before bed, we snuggle in the rocker while she takes a little milk. This night, she jumped into her clothes hamper on top of her monkey and Baker bunny and just sat like this drinking her milk!

These next 3 are too funny! She loves library time and adores Mrs. June. When Mrs. June starts to read, she is usually the first one up there in her lap or standing right beside her pointing to everything in the book. This would be so sweet, except she's NEVER quiet up there. She yells out "JUNE" or every animal/thing in the book being read. Her favorite song to dance to at the library is the "dinosaur" song. They all get little squishy dinosaurs and march around the room..... here she is, in full glory!

Warming up......
Getting it!!!

Cooling down (and probably seeing someone else's snack or stroller to try to push around)

At the BHS homecoming parade... she loved the firetruck, band, JROTC, and all the floats!

We met our friends there and CoCo and Toth came too.

We wear rebel gear as much as possible in Brandon because that town is full of State gear!

Loving it!

Ken Ken was tired and Lyds looks confused

Getting a little bit closer to the action....  we only caught one piece of candy :(

Last Saturday we went to a birthday party for Ivy in Lydia's class. She had a blast running around and everything was super cute. This huge sucker was part of our happy/goody bucket to bring home! She loved it!

Sweet girl.

At the park on a Sunday afternoon, still in our church clothes.... And for those of you that remember.... YES, this is her birthday dress from last year and it still fits! My little petite girl at 22 months can still wear 12 month clothes.
