Football 2012

This season is here, we are all excited and anticipating the Hugh Freeze era.... he's a great guy, and he has to be better than the past two coaches right?! Football, especially Ole Miss football, is a big deal in our house. The beginning of our relationship..... and most memories from college can be pinpointed to a day/week, due to what game it was and who Ole Miss was playing that week!

COACH!!!!!!!!!

Ole Miss's season opener was Univ Central Arkansas, and thanks to Isacc (the slow moving hurricane to hit MS) and to Alan scheduling meetings in Oxford, we were able to go prepare for the grove on Wednesday night! We were planning on leaving home Thursday morning or after Liddy's school Thursday, but school was cancelled and we jumped in the car Wed night! Isaac never actually made it's way through Oxford, it just rained a little bit. So we were able to enjoy our time around town and the school. I am terrified of a tornado, and the metro area was under tornado warnings all day Thursday and Friday, so I'm thankful for my first time to flea from a hurricane!

We enjoyed the park, square, grove, and most anything else "Oxford." The only problem is Liddy decided she didn't want to sleep in her pack and play anymore and she/we were up most of the nights. She can even start crying hard enough to make herself throw up. I'm convinced that she does that because she knows we will come in there and get her then. Makes for a long night though!

Before the grove gets crazy!
Walk of Champions

Park!

Don't know what this pouty face is about......

........ probably this sleepiness.

Got my red solo in the Grove!

She was so sleepy (prob due to her no napping) and it was super HOT this day!

Ice Dad?

She really was happy, don't know why she's not smiling.

We attempted putting her on Daddy's shoulders for the players walk through the Grove, but she didn't really care for it, plus there was no shade on the Walk and it was H.O.T.

Oh yes I did.... Said I never would use a "leash," but the Grove is kind of scary with all those people running around. She loves it, just not on her back, so we weren't able to use it much. And I got the bear one instead of the puppy one :)

Second game, she LOVED playing with Brooks and Grace! Brooks played football with her and Grace was an excellent babysitter.

....and she can pass!

Kind of blurry, but all these are phone pics b/c I forgot my camera that day. Sweet Grace took care of her!

Finally in the stadium! The sun took an hour or so to go down, so Lyds got to sit in the Rebel Club with KK and Troxy... NO FAIR! She came down to see us before the game started though.
